This special projects course offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in an intensive, self-directed action research project, directly addressing a specific need or challenge within a practical ministry context. Rooted in biblical understanding and a heart for discipleship, students will identify a relevant ministry area, develop a focused question, implement a new initiative or approach, and prayerfully evaluate its impact. The course emphasizes a practical, hands-on process of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting, equipping students with valuable skills for continuous growth and innovation in real-world ministry settings.
Under the guidance of a seasoned ministry leader, students will design their project, carry out their research in partnership with a church or ministry organization, discern their findings, and share their conclusions and recommendations. This course is designed to set the stage for your final-year dissertation work, providing a foundational experience in practical research and ministry engagement that will be invaluable for your culminating project. It's ideal for students seeking to deepen their practical ministry skills, contribute meaningfully to the body of Christ, and see God work through their dedicated efforts.
